The classic stack rule

Blocks move across the screen and you tap to drop them on a growing tower. Any part that overhangs the block below is cut off, so the tower gets narrower unless you are precise. Miss completely and the round is over. It is one of the oldest and simplest ideas in mobile gaming, and still one of the most played.

Why it works

One input, instant feedback and a clear high score make stacking games perfect for short breaks. Every round lasts a minute or two, and the game over is always your own fault – which is exactly why you want one more try. Pet Tower

Our take on the genre stars cute pets. Every block has a pet face – cat, dog, bunny, hamster, fox or panda – and your tower mixes the pets you own. As the tower climbs, the camera follows it up into the sky, which slowly turns from day blue to dusk and then fills with stars. Sliced pieces tumble away, the screen shakes a little on a cut, and perfect drops flash and sparkle.

What Pet Tower adds to the classic

Precision is rewarded: a drop within 4 pixels counts as perfect and keeps the block's full width, and three perfect drops in a row start growing the block back – see the Perfect Drop Guide. On top of the classic endless stack, Pet Tower has levels with a goal line (10 floors for Level 1, two more every level, faster each time), a Daily Challenge that is the same for every player that day, a daily login streak bonus, and a Pet Shop where coins unlock new pets. Stacking vs. merging
