Coins
You earn coins at the end of every round: one coin for every 250 points you scored, so a 5,000-point round pays 20 coins. The game-over screen shows how many coins you earned, together with your biggest blob and number of merges. Your coin total is shown on the start screen.
Daily goals
Every day there are three goals, each worth 50 coins – up to 150 coins a day. They are drawn from five kinds of goal, never two of the same kind on one day:
Merge a number of blobs (40, 80 or 150 – this counts across all your rounds that day); score 1,500, 3,000 or 5,000 points in one game; create a Mochi, Cloud or Moon; get a ×3, ×4 or ×5 combo; or play 2, 3 or 5 games.
Open the Goals screen from the start menu to see each goal's progress bar. When a goal is completed you get a pop-up and the 50 coins right away. Goals are picked from the date, so a new set appears every day.
Skins
Coins unlock skins that change the colours of all 11 blob levels. There are five: Candy (the free default), Ocean (150 coins), Sunset (300), Neon (500) and Pastel (800). Unlocking all of them costs 1,750 coins. Once bought, you can switch between owned skins at any time from the Skins screen.
Skins are cosmetic
Skins change only colours. Every blob keeps the same size and physics, so nobody gets an advantage. Pick the palette where you find the levels easiest to tell apart – that alone can help you spot matches faster.
Fastest way to unlock skins
Daily goals pay far more than score: three goals give 150 coins, the same as 37,500 points of score. Check the goals first, then play rounds that complete them. The 'create a Cloud' or 'get a ×5 combo' goals are the hardest; our strategy tips explain how to build chains.
Records
Your best score and the highest blob you have ever made are saved and shown on the start screen. The strip of blobs under the jar fades out the levels above your record, so you can see what to aim for next.
